José Humberto´s main areas of practice include banking law, corporate finance, structured finance, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, securitizations and private equity, debt and corporate restructures insolvency and corporate governance.
José Humberto has a strong experience advising in finance law, counseling financial transactions to domestic credit institutions and other foreign and international financial organizations – e.g., advising lenders in the financing of structured projects, secured by different kinds of collateral such as real estate mortgages, security trusts, ship mortgages, pledges and other corporate guarantees.
He graduate attorney at law from Universidad Anahuac in 2009 and has a Maters in Corporate Law (summa cum laude) and a Post-Graduate degree in Corporate Law both from Universidad Anahuac.
In 2014 he completed his LL.M. at The University of Chicago Law School, and accomplished his international experience working as a foreign associate at Proskauer Rose, LLP. for one year in 2014-2015.
