Fernando Quezada T. joined the Firm in 2011. His practice focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, secured cross-border lending, real estate and corporate governance. He regularly represents leading domestic and international clients in high profile and complex transactions and has advised various Japanese clients in cross-border transactions in Mexico.
Fernando has broad international experience. Between 2017 and 2018, he worked as International Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York, working on M&A and financing transactions in the U.S. and Latin America; and subsequently at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto in Tokyo, representing clients on cross-border corporate transactions in Japan, Southeast Asia and the U.S.
Fernando holds an LL.M. degree in Corporate Governance & Practice from Stanford Law School. He graduated as an attorney from Anahuac University in 2013, where he was editor of the Law Review. He also completed a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law in the same University. Fernando is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in Mexico.
