José Humberto is partner at Nader, Hayaux & Goebel and specializes in banking law, corporate finance, structured finance, fintech and other technology companies, emerging companies, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain transactions and factoring, capital markets, securitizations, debt and corporate restructures insolvency and corporate governance.
He has a strong experience advising in finance law, counseling financial transactions to domestic credit institutions and other foreign and international financial organizations. In addition, he has advised lenders in the financing of structured projects, secured by different kinds of collateral such as real estate mortgages, security trusts, ship mortgages, pledges and other corporate guarantees. He is constantly advising fintech and other technology companies both in their regulatory and transactional legal needs.
As Partner, José Humberto has been ranked by The Legal 500 as “Next Generation Partner 2021” in Banking and Finance. He has written articles for specialized books and magazines, including Acquisition and Finance, Chambers & Partners 2019 and 2020.
José Humberto obtained his Law degree from Universidad Anahuac in 2009 and holds a Masters in Corporate Law (summa cum laude) and a Post-Graduate degree in Corporate Law, both from Universidad Anahuac.
In 2014, he completed his LL.M. at The University of Chicago, and for one year, he accomplished his international experience working as a foreign associate at Proskauer Rose, LLP. in New York City.
