Sandra works as associate at Nader Hayaux & Goebel and specializes in competition & antitrust in the pharmaceutical, real estate, financial, agribusiness, aviation and consumer goods sectors.
Her experience has mainly focused on advising diverse clients on in investigations (cartels, abuse of dominance, and barriers to competition), obtaining regulatory approvals that depend on the Mexican competition authorities (mergers & acquisitions), constitutional trials, compliance, and risk prevention in antitrust matters for several companies in Mexico.
Sandra has a strong background advising transnational companies in antidumping proceedings and in the drafting of competition and antitrust legislation and regulation in Latin America.
Prior to joining NHG, Sandra worked for 7 years in consulting in antitrust, regulatory law and foreign trade, as well as in another international law firm in Mexico City. Sandra is a member of organizations such as the International Bar Association (IBA) and Abogadas MX.
Sandra holds a law degree with honors from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) since 2019 and a diploma in Digital Economy from Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in 2021.
