NHG advised Sofía Salud Mexico
NHG advised a group of Mexican entrepreneurs and foreign international investors in the structuring of a vehicle that secured a license from the Mexican Government to incorporate and operate an insurance company specialized in healthcare (ISES) in Mexico.
NHG acted as Mexican counsel in designing the corporate structure used to receive funds from foreign funds and securing from the Mexican Government the license to incorporate and operate an insurance company in Mexico.
NHG represented the managing partners in processing and securing the regulatory authorizations, including the authorization of the Mexican Insurance Commission (CNSF) and the Ministry of Health (SS), to incorporate and operate the ISES.
NHG advise encompasses the design of the corporate structure supporting the investment in the ISES, from various investors from different jurisdictions, including foreign investment funds.
NHG also handled the authorization processes before the competent authorities to initiate operation in Mexico as an ISES, such as the CNSF, the SS and CONDUSEF and advised Sofia Salud in the drafting of its insurance policies and innovative operating platform using technology such as telemedicine and in the underwriting to provide health services to the Mexican population disrupting the Mexican health insurance market.
Furthermore, NHG Partner Yves Hayaux du Tilly was asked to serve in the board of directors of Sofia Salud as Non Executive Director.
