Our group has advised national and global clients in every aspect related with their energy projects, including power generation, project finance, mergers & acquisitions, workouts, international and national public bids, joint ventures, insurance and reinsurance matters, foreign investment and regulatory issues, involving and actively participating with Federal and State governmental agencies, including the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Economy, the Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) and its subsidiaries, the Federal Antitrust Commission and the National Commission of Foreign Investment.

Our extensive experience in joint ventures, negotiations among partners and contractual work, has allowed the group to participate in the creation of partnerships and negotiation of terms for their participants, designing exit mechanisms in case of conflict or non-performance among members of a partnership and/or subcontractors; as well as, minority rights when applicable.
Also, our extensive knowledge and expertise in financial matters allow us to provide comprehensive support to our clients in all types of financing transactions, including the analysis and implementation of collateral packages and source of payment mechanisms, as well as the analysis and negotiation of financing documents tailored for each project.
Our group has also been able to advise clients with respect to the analysis of the legal framework regarding regulated activities in the sector and the determination of the filings necessary to obtain required permits and authorizations.
