Mario is a tax associate at Nader, Hayaux & Goebel. He has experience in tax consulting and direct and indirect taxes on national, international and cross-border transactions, interpretation and application of tax treaties, serving clients from the main economic sectors, as well as tax services designed for private.
Likewise, Mario’s professional practice includes participation in tax due diligence and financial statements audits; tax controversy and litigation (tax audits, administrative appeals, tax litigation before federal courts, amparo trial, mutual agreement procedure –MAP- and procedures with PRODECON); as well as advice on oil and gas. Mario also has experience in the public sector, having participated in the General Administration of Large Taxpayers and Hydrocarbons, advising authorities and taxpayers, elaborating rulings, tax regulations and law initiatives, as well as procedures before the Hydrocarbons Importers Registry.
Mario received his law degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and has a Tax Diploma and a Tax Audits for Hydrocarbons Sector Diploma from the same University.
