Our antitrust practice group consists of a highly experienced team offering a wide range of services, from general antitrust consulting to merger control proceedings, investigations into monopolistic practices and proceedings, antitrust compliance consulting, advice on bidding and market conditions, and government entity advising.
Our Aviation Practice Group handles a wide range of matters in the aviation sector, including financing, leasing, regulatory matters, insurance, corporate/M&A, insolvency and workouts. Our Capital Markets Group is formed by specialists who regularly advise on a wide variety of international and domestic public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, as well as in tender offers. Our group advises issuers, investors, broker dealers, credit enhancers and underwriters in crafting innovative solutions for some of the largest and most complex transactions in the industry.
Our compliance practice advises Mexican and foreign companies, both regulated and non-regulated, on the prevention, identification and management of risks, the liabilities and contingencies arising therefrom, and on the development of complex structures and solutions related to regulatory compliance.
Our data privacy and cybersecurity practice advises Mexican and foreign companies, both regulated and non-regulated, on compliance with the Mexican data protection regulation and financial secrecy. We provide guidance on preventing, identifying, and managing data privacy and cybersecurity risks to mitigate liabilities and contingencies arising therefrom.
The energy practice at NHG frequently participates in many of the largest and most innovative energy and natural resources projects and transactions, encompassing the power industry, oil and gas, as well as related water, renewables, waste and mining projects.
Our Environment & Water Resources Practice Group comprises a team of highly skilled professionals with extensive experience in a broad range of environmental matters, including ecological ordinances, environmental impact matters, hazardous substances, and GMO regulations, endangered species and wildlife protection, occupation of the federal maritime, terrestrial zone and other governmental lands, air emissions, decarbonization and climate change affairs, waste handling and recycling, remediation, and compensation of site contamination and in general the management of environmental damage liabilities. Our Telecoms Practice Group handles a wide range of corporate and finance transactions in the telecom sector, as well as complex related regulatory matters in the telecommunications, telephony, media, internet, satellite and broadcasting sectors.
Our Workouts and Insolvency Practice Group has advised secured and unsecured lenders in over US$20 billion of restructurings and workouts (not counting our advice to the United States Treasury Department in the 1995 US$20 billion emergency finance package to Mexico).
