Infrastructure, PPPs & Project Finance

• Advised the Water Utility Agency of the Municipality of Los Cabos (OOMSAPASLC) in the restructuring process of a USD 19 million Stand-By Credit Facility.
• Advised a four-member consortium comprised of leading technology development companies in the public bidding process, as well as in the award and execution of a USD 40 million acquisition, supply and installation agreement.
• Advised the Water Utility Agency of the Municipality of Los Cabos (OOMSAPASLC) on the legal aspects of an international tender process for a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for the construction, operation and 25-year maintenance of a desalination plant with a capacity of 250 liters, for an amount of USD 144.5 million.
• Advised Grupo Murano in the negotiation of hotel management, technical services and branding agreements with Hyatt and Accor for the operation of the Andaz and Mondrian hotels, for an amount of USD 49.753 million.
• Currently advising an international consortium in the structuring of two unsolicited proposals under a PPP scheme for two major federal highway projects.
• Advised Vise and Impulsora de Soluciones en Infraestructura in the public tender launched by the State of Mexico for a PPP contract regarding the refurbishment, preservation and maintenance for 12 years of 1,637.80 kilometers of highways in the State of Mexico.
• Currently advising the Water Utility Agency of the City of Los Cabos (OOMSAPAS) on the legal aspects of an international PPP tender process for the construction, operation and 25-year maintenance of a desalination plant in the municipality of Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico, primarily supported by CONAGUA and FONADIN.
• Advised the Sonora State Water Commission (CEA) on the legal aspects of an international PPP tender process for the construction, operation and 20-year maintenance of a desalination plant in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, partially financed by CONAGUA and FONADIN.
• Advised GIA and Vise during a public tender process launched by the State of Hidalgo for the construction, operation, preservation and maintenance of the Real del Monte-Huasca highway under a 30-year PPP structure backed by federal FONADIN funds, as well as in connection with the concession granted.
• Advised the consortium in the preparation of the tender process and the joint venture agreements.

Energy & Natural Resources

• Advised Power China in the analysis of tender documents and matters related to the financial feasibility of the lump-sum turnkey contract for the public works tendered by the state productive subsidiary CFE Generación for the Salamanca combined-cycle power plant, with an expected capacity of 836.79 MW.
• Advised Sistema Integral para el Manejo Ecológico y Procesamiento de Desechos (SIMEPRODE) as advisor in the structuring of a waste-to-energy project for several municipalities in the State of Nuevo León.
